WP4 - Improving the sea level observing system
WP4 will focus on improvements of the European
sea level observing system with emphasis on tide gauges
at central locations for Applications A (long-term gauges),
B (straits), C (low-resolution areas) as well as the co-location
of tide gauges with GPS required by both Application A and C.
Locations will be selected on the basis of the classification
in WP1. On a longer term, this WP will result in considerable improvements
of the observing system at locations of high importance.
