09:15 - 13:00 2. General Overview of the ESEAS-RI Project
The presentations in this session will allow
the WP leaders to introduce themselves and to present their WP
with main focus on how they consider the work should be organised.
Important points to address are the tasks and their interrelations, the
links to other WPs and the workplan for the first year. Where possible,
the task leaders should be mentioned and other organisational
aspects addressed.

Plag, H.-P., NMA: Objectives, Tasks, and Organisation of the ESEAS-RI
Project
This presentation mainly aims at those participants not directly involved
in the EU Project and provides the general frame. Some reference will
be made to the work of EOSS and the relation between ESEAS-RI and
the ESEAS.

nn, POL: WP1 - Quality Control of the Sea-Level Observations
Focus in this talk will be on a short overview of the tasks in the
work package, their relation to the work of the ESEAS TEC, and
on the work to be done in the next six to twelve months including
the deliverables for the first six/twelve months.

Bingley, R., UNOTT: WP2 - Absolute Sea Level Variations
Contents should be the overview of the tasks, their relation
to the work of the ESEAS TEC and also the coordination with
TIGA, and the work to be done in the next six/twelve months
including the deliverables.

Knudsen, P., KMS: WP3 - Decadal to Inter-Decadal Sea Level Variations
Besides an overview of the tasks, focus should be on the workplan
particularly for the first six/twelve months including the deliverables.

Rosen, D., IOLR: WP4 - Improving the Sea Level Observing System
Again, an overview of the tasks should be the start and
then the necessary steps for the next six/twelve months should be
detailed including the deliverables.

Plag, H.-P., NMA: WP5 - Management of the Project
The management structure will be described and the
roles specified. The tools for information exchange,
and delivering of deliverables will be presented and
the process of reporting explained.
It is hoped that Alan Edwards is present
to contribute additional comments.
