The meeting information is given in a reverse chronological order.

The second workshop jointly organized by European Sea Level Service (ESEAS) and the EC-funded project ESEAS-Research Infrastructure (ESEAS-RI) was held at Art Hotel, Split, Croatia 5-6 October, 2005. Close to 70 participants from 20 countries participated at the workshop.
There were 50 oral presentations and posters presented in this two-day long workshop. A Book of Abstracts (pdf) is now available. To search a single abstract and more information about workshop, please visit here.

The final ESEAS-RI Project Team Meeting took place 7 October, 2005 at the Art Hotel, Split, Croatia. The project will end in October 2005 after running for three years. Achievements and progress made in the project as well as future plans were addressed in the meeting.

The sixth Governing Board meeting took place at the Art Hotel, Split 7-8 October, 2005. Representatives from Russia and France had been invited and attended the meeting as observers. More information about the meeting will be available soon.

The Fifth Governing Board meeting was held at at San Gorg Corinthia Hotel, St. Julians, Malta between 5 November 2004. The meeting was held in conjunction with the first workshop and the fourth Project Team meeting. The agenda for the meeting is here. The minutes is available here (.doc). The first workskop jointly organized by European Sea Level Service (ESEAS) and the EC-funded ESEAS-Research Infrastructure (ESEAS-RI) project was held at San Gorg Corinthia Hotel, St. Julians, Malta between 1-3 November 2004. The workshop was proceed successfully with great effort from the Scientific Committee for the Workshop, near 70 participants from 22 countries and help from Local Organising Committee from IOI-Malta Operational Centre, University of Malta.
About 70 research scientists worldwide to the workshop shared their research results from sea level studies. They also realized that more studies and works should be done to avoid what has been seen from the movie "The Day After Tomorrow". As a message from ESEAS-RI sicentific community, they made a press release (doc). Prof. Dr. Hans-Peter Plag, The Chair of the Scientific Committee for the Workshop, summarized (see presentation here (ppt) ) scientific achievements and addressed more open questions (ppt) for further sea level research. Local newspaper The Sunday Times from Malta has reported about this international event "Sea Level studies and climate change".
There are 70 papers and posters presented in the workshop. Book of Abstracts (revised version, pdf) as the primary publication is available now. After evaluated by the Scientific Committee for the Workshop, some papers with important scientific research results will be published in full paper version in a Proceedings later.

The fourth meeting of WP2 and ESEAS Working Group 2 was held at the UPC, Barcelona, Spain 15 October 2004.

The ESEAS and ESEAS-RI Workshop on Sea Level Observation and Interpretation will jointly be organised with the Fourth ESEAS-RI Project Team Meeting and the ESEAS Governing Board Meeting in the week 1-5 November 2004 on Malta. The 3rd ESEAS-RI Project Team Meeting took place on 13-14 May 2004 at the Ardalaun Hotel, Galway, Ireland. The draft minutes are available here. The photos during dinner and in the Board room indicate the good atmosphere in the project team.

The Kick-off Meeting of the ESEAS-RI Project took place 11-12 November 2002 in Istanbul, Turkey. The meeting was held jointly with the Third Meeting of the ESEAS TEC and prior to the Third Meeting of the ESEAS Governing Board. The latter meeting was held on 13 November 2002.
